It is a heritage luxury fragrance house.

A house defined by philosophy, guided by tradition, and committed to a standard of craftsmanship that cannot be rushed.

Every creation is rooted in the aromatic legacy of ancient India: the temple, the royal court, the sacred ritual, the wisdom of Ayurveda. These are not borrowed inspirations. They are the original sources of perfumery itself, living traditions that existed long before the modern fragrance industry.

The Svarg: collection luxury scented candles, solid perfumes, reed diffusers, room and linen sprays, wax sachets, and wax melts. We offer multiple ways to experience this heritage in a contemporary world.

Each piece is handcrafted in small batches using 100% premium natural wax and pure fragrance oil blends.

Each one carries a story that begins not in a laboratory, but in the sacred heart of Indian civilisation.

The Fragrance of the Divine

Sacred Scent in Ancient Indian Temples

To understand Svarg: is to understand where its fragrances have lived.

In the great temples of ancient India from the stone sanctuaries of the South to the river-facing ghats of Varanasi fragrance was never mere decoration.

It was theology.

Camphor, musk, sandalwood, agarwood, and sacred flowers created an unmistakable olfactory signature of the divine — one that continues to resonate with anyone who has ever crossed a temple threshold.

Agarbatti and dhoop were not simply burned; they were offerings. They purified space, dispelled negativity, and elevated consciousness. In the sacred ritual of avahan the invocation of deities fragrance, incense, and flame formed the very language of devotion.

The Rigveda, among the world’s oldest sacred texts, speaks of aromatic resins, oils, and herbs used in ritual practice. Guggulu resin, when burned, was revered as the embodiment of Agni, the fire god.

This was Gandhayukti - the ancient Indian science of scent.

Not aesthetic.
Not decorative.
But transcendental.

India’s original aromatherapy, devotional, intentional, and thousands of years old.

The Scent of Opulence

Fragrance in India’s Royal Courts

If temples gave fragrance its spiritual meaning, royal courts elevated it into an art of indulgence.

The Mughal emperors were among history’s greatest patrons of perfumery, creating an aromatic culture of extraordinary refinement.

As evening fell over moonlit palace gardens, candles infused with agarwood, sandalwood, frankincense, and ambergris were lit. Basins of rosewater rested beneath flowering trees, while trellises of rose, jasmine, champa, and violet released their fragrance into the night air.

Vetiver blinds cooled palace interiors, releasing their earthy aroma with every breeze.

Floral compositions were crafted like works of art citron layered beneath jasmine, crowned with rose and champa, then delicately misted with rosewater designed to delight, soothe, and seduce the senses.

The emperor adorned himself with precious oud attars. Palace doors and furnishings were scented. Queens and courtesans carried their fragrances in delicate vials worn close to the skin.

Even curtains and linens were infused with vetiver to create a cooling sensory experience.

This was not excess.
It was refinement at its highest expression.

In ancient India, fragrance was not an accessory.
It was the measure of a life well-lived.
